Procedures

Endovenous Laser Therapy

Used to treat varicose veins. An optical fiber is inserted into the great saphenous vein in the thigh. Laser energy is then emitted into the interior of the vein, causing the vein to contract, while the optical fiber is slowly withdrawn.

Sclerotherapy

Used to treat spider veins. A solution is administered into the damaged vein causing the blood to displace and turn white. This solution causes the vein to become irritated, prohibiting the blood from re-entering the vein.

Phlebectomy

Used to treat small veins and veins other than the great saphenous. A hook is inserted into a very small incision in the leg. A portion of the vein is hooked and removed from the leg through the small incision.
